Instrumental and Music Theory Tuition

Steve has been teaching piano, clarinet, saxophone, flute and music theory to pupils of all ages, from age five to 60+, across Darlington and County Durham since 1996. He has a wealth of experience teaching a wide range of abilities, from complete beginner to post-Grade 8 and degree-level performance. Lessons are tailor-made to suit the learning style, ability level and age of the pupil, and learners can focus on a particular style of music if they so desire. All pupils have the opportunity to be entered for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) grade exams if they so wish.

Where are lessons held? How much do they cost?

The lessons will usually be at your house, or at a place of your choosing. The current charge for individual instrumental and theory lessons is £15 for a 30 minute lesson and £25 for a full hour within Darlington. There will an extra small charge outside of Darlington to cover fuel costs. For further information, and for group rates, please ask for details.
